Overview:

The delivery driver's main responsibility is to deliver orders to the Edmonton Metropolitan Area. You will be required to visit all three of our locations, starting with our St. Albert location. The driver will be in charge of transferring products and/or equipment from and to each of the three locations. You will be required to keep a record of items received and delivered. The driver will provide excellent customer service and create a good rapport with customers and AHS workers. This will be accomplished by following a set schedule, being punctual, having product/equipment knowledge, and creating a work friendly environment.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Transportation:

A company van will be provided to you. You will be required to take the company van home. A fuel card will be provided.

Compensation:

Hourly wage of $22 per hour. Compensation is based on an 80 hour bi-weekly work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading products and equipment up to 45lbs.
• Movement of products and equipment from and to different locations
• Interacting with customers via phone and/or in person.
• Keeping and maintaining records.
• Receiving payment from customers and issuing packing slips & invoices.
• Maintaining a good rapport with customers and staff.
• Other duties may be required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License 
• A driver's abstract is required
• High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
