The New ATS 500AXW chrome plated steel commode is heavy duty. Not only is the 500AXW commode strong, but with a welded and bolt construction and added gussets it can be used over the toilet or by itself. Swing down armrests have full poly arm pads that clear the seat pan to allow for easy transfers to and from wheelchair, bed, etc. A quick release pin is used to lower armrests and will conveniently lock when armrests is returned to the upright positions.
