Sammons Preston Leg Elevating Splint
Helps Relieve Swelling and Edema
The Sammons Preston Leg Elevating Splint offers a gradual incline, designed for users either lying in a supine position or seated in a chair. The foam wedge helps rest the leg at a gradually elevated height to mitigate lower extremity edema and discomfort. Available with or without vinyl coating, the leg splint is not made to support both legs simultaneously.
Sizes Address Specific User Needs
The splint offers the option to choose between sizes: 10" H x 8" W x 32" L, 4" H x 8" W x 34" L and 10" H x 12" W x 33" L. The 4" high splint is recommended for supine position, the 10" high splint for seated or supine and the 10" high straight splint to help alleviate lower extremity edema or lower back pain. Designed for users with lower extremity or circulatory issues, the leg elevating splint can also aid post-op recovery from hip replacement surgery.
Flame Retardant Foam Construction
Recommended by doctors and physical therapists, the leg elevating splint provides effective and practical pain management. The seamless foam wedge is flame retardant and ideal for multiple client use, infection control precautions, or medication application. The elevation splint can be wiped clean with a non-abrasive soap or disinfectant.
